Mike Hines & the Look

Mike Hines, also known as Mike Hines and The Look, is a high-energy six-member dance band that can electrify any party. The recent addition of two new young, skilled members, a female singer and a new guitarist, provides even more energy and versatility. In 2022, they were inducted into the Delaware Rock & Roll Society, bringing a vibrant mix of R&B, hip hop, pop, old-school funk, Motown, and disco to the stage. With over three decades of experience entertaining large crowds, Mike Hines and The Look have become popular in nightclubs, weddings, festivals, galas, and private parties. Their high-energy performances have earned them a reputation that is not to be missed, including a memorable appearance at the Delaware Inaugural Celebration in 2017 for Governor Carney.

They are the ultimate party band, boasting a diverse following that spans several generations. Throughout their illustrious career, Mike Hines and The Look have been honored to open for renowned acts such as Dionne Warwick, The Ohio Players, Taylor Dayne, Chris Rock, Al B. Sure, Lisa Lisa, Naughty by Nature, War, and The Sugarhill Gang. They were also signed to a recording contract with Atlantic Records in 1989/1990 and had sponsorship from Bud Light. The band has received numerous awards and honors while performing in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Delaware, and Maryland.
